Terry Wayne Adams, Sr. , age 67, of Semmes, Alabama passed away on Monday May 14, 2018. Terry was born October 24, 1950 in Hattiesburg, MS. He retired from H.T. Hackney. He was a passionate Alabama Crimson Tide fan and avid golfer. He lived for his children and grandchildren, who affectionately knew him as "Poppy".
He is preceded in death by his parents Lois and Ocie King Adams, one sister June Robinson and step-mother Frankie Adams. Survived by his loving wife Peggy Barlow Adams, two sons Terry Wayne (Sheila) Adams, Jr. and Bryan Christopher (Megan) Adams. Five grandchildren Trenton Beau Adams, Noah Quinn Adams, Tyler Lynn Adams, Anistyn Marie Adams and Griffin Welsh Adams. Brother Joe Adams and two sisters Gail (Gordon) Fant and Lynn (Bob) Hill.
Visitation for Terry will be held Friday, May 18, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Radney Funeral Home-Mobile, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL 36606. A funeral service will occur Friday, May 18, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL 36606. A burial will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery West, 1599 Snow Rd. S, Mobile, Alabama 36695. If you were blessed to have known him you have probably received one of his infamous "Bear Hugs". He will be greatly missed by loving family and friends.
