Sybil DeLois C. Wood, age 95, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017. Mrs. Wood lived most of her life in Mobile, AL and died in Fairhope, AL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Wood, parents, Ruel Hubert and Ida Jay Carmichael, sisters, Gladys Edney and Shirley Rummel. She is survived by her daughter, Kay W. (Earl) Jackson of Fairhope, and son, H. Keith (Diane) Wood of Alabaster, AL. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren; Jonathan (Amy) Wood, Amy Elaine Presson, Birmingham, AL, and Heather Jackson, Phoenix AZ; 5 great-grandchildren, Abigail, Mary, Kaylee and Samuel Wood, Erik Presson and nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Mrs. Wood was a graduate of Murphy High School, former member of Moffet Road Baptist Church and at the time of her death was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Fairhope, AL. Graveside services will be held at Pine Crest Cemetery, Dauphin Island Pkwy., Mobile, AL on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-mobile.com.
