Stella Tanner Pierce, age 88, born December 4, 1922, passed away July 8, 2011. She is survived by daughter, Woodie Charleen Morris (Claude) and son, Kenneth “Buster” Pierce (Carolyn). She was preceded in death by husband, Luther Pierce; and granddaughter, Tina Pierce. She is also survived by five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 10, 2011 from 2 P.M. until the 4 P.M. funeral service at Tanner Williams United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Joyner Cemetery. Active pallbearers are Rodney Pierce, Jeffrey Morris, Tanner Roberts, Randon Roberts, Jon Tousinau, and Scott Davis. The family wishes to thank Charleen, Cassie, and all Southern Care Hospice Staff.
