Stacy Hammac Graham, 43, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022 in Lucedale, Mississippi. Stacy was born to Otha Hammac Jr. and Gloria Nix Holcomb on June 21, 1979 in Mobile, Alabama. She was an advertising executive for Erwin-Penland, Inc. in Greenville, South Carolina for many years. Stacy also spent time helping her mother, Gloria, operate the Mississippi Furniture Warehouse in Lucedale, Mississippi, which Gloria owned. She was a program director for the GMAC Bowl, and worked at Bayfest – the latter of which she stole a belt from her friend to put on George Clinton before he took the stage. Stacy also worked the board at WABB. She was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church, and volunteered with Team Focus.
Stacy’s happy place was the beach. She loved the casino – was a big time Black Jack player – and won a Fourth of July drawing resulting in a 2019 Corvette. Stacy was a rabid Alabama football fan (Roll Tide!), and loved gardening and crocheting. Her talents were vast, but as she was skilled at the piano, her favorite thing to do was cook the recipes her Granny Nix left for her. She was an enigmatic person, was well loved, and will be greatly missed.
Stacy was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Nix Holcomb; and father-in-law, David Graham.
She is survived by her husband, the love of her life, Jeffery Graham; father, Otha Hammac, Jr.; sister and brother-in-law, Leisa and Jack Myles (as well as their son, Joseph Senne); mother-in-law, Therese Graham, brother-in-law, Sean Graham; three nephews; and a great number of other cherished family and friends.
Visitation for Stacy will be held on Monday, October 17, 2022 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, followed by interment in Pine Crest Cemetery.
If one so chooses, in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Grace Lutheran Church in Stacy’s name.
