Shannon Diane Deas

Shannon Diane Deas passed away on June 24th, 2021, after a brief illness. Shannon is a graduate of The University of South Alabama where she earned a degree in Education. Shannon was a beloved and well-respected teacher at Faith Academy for over 25 years. Shannon loved animals and was known to take in rescue dogs including her two current companions Ally and Hunter.

Shannon is survived by her father Marvin Deas, mother Dianne Bullard Nassar and stepfather Bill Nassar, sister Jill Delamore and spouse Steve and their three children Maggie, Emma and Claire, brother Robert Deas, aunt Sallie Burch and spouse David, their son Paul and spouse Katelyn, uncle Vic Bullard and spouse Donna and their child Clay, beloved cousin Angela Surgenor and her children Rich and Reilly. Shannon is preceded in death by her grandparents Clay and Leslie Bullard and aunt Martha Hunt.

Visitation will be held at Life Church 8701 Zeigler Blvd, Mobile, AL 36608 on July 1st . Visitation is at 2:00 pm with a Memorial service to follow at 3:00. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations can be sent in Shannon’s name to the scholarship fund at Faith Academy or to Hope4Hearts Animal Rescue.
