Savanna was born on April 22, 1994 in Mobile, AL. She shared a birth date with Earth Day, which is a nod to the lively, youthful, and fresh atmosphere that followed her throughout her life. She was a proud resident of the Oakleigh Garden District where she enjoyed many walks through the neighborhood with her dog, Stella. Savanna was delighted to celebrate her favorite season, Mardi Gras, year after year and was an active member of the Order of LaShe’s. Savanna worked in the service industry for years where she cultivated many friendships and regulars that were drawn to her captivating spirit. Following her stint in the service industry, she was employed at Uniti Fiber where she enjoyed her responsibilities and coworkers.
Savanna took after her mother with her love and talent for the arts. She earned a black belt in taekwondo during her youth, and was a co-captain of her cheerleading squad in high school. While Savanna had many exciting life experiences during her 26 short years, perhaps Savanna’s crowning achievements were rooted in the relationships she formed with her friends and family. Savanna took great pride in her friendships and familiar relationships, as she should have, because she was the most amazing friend and family member. She was loving, supportive, encouraging, hilarious, and inspiring. She had a phenomenal way of motivating people to become the best version of themselves. Savanna truly made a positive impact on this world and her family and friends will cherish her legacy forever.
