Ruby Nell Weed

Ruby Nell Morgan Weed, 95, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 25, 2022. She was born to Eugene Morgan and Holly Savannah Morgan on February 3, 1927 in Alabama. Ruby worked as a waitress for many years throughout the Mobile, Alabama area. She loved to garden, quilt, and cook. She would feed anyone who walked through her door and always had a glass of sweet tea ready for them. Ruby’s specialties were her chocolate and carrot cakes, as well as apple fritters. Ruby loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren above all else on earth.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Walter M. Weed; son, Larry M. Weed; parents; three brothers; and four sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Weed Fikes; daughter-in-law, Carol Weed; grandchildren: Larry M. Weed, Jr. (Melody), Stephanie Fikes (Raymond), Brian Fikes (Amanda), Nicholas Fikes (Gates), and Reed Cox (Savuth); great-grandchildren: Brantley Weed, Avery Weed, Christin Williams, Adam Williams, Jr., Kaitlyn Williams, Ava Phelps, Liam Haddix, Lillian Parker, Brendan Parker, Arthur Fikes, Cole Cox, and Auston Cox; sister, Louise Moon; and other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
