Rose Eileen Dooley

Rose Eileen Woolston Dooley, born November 5, 1927, died peacefully in the early hours of June 30, 2016. Born in Philadelphia to Ernest Woolston and Rose Rafferty Woolston, Eileen was the youngest of six children. She served in the United States Navy as a registered nurse. She married Gerard Francis Dooley on June 14, 1952.

Eileen is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ernest, Harry, George and Richard; sister, Elizabeth Lake; daughter-in-law Dorothy Schilling Dooley. She is survived by her husband of 64 years and seven children; Rose Stewart (Don), Jerry (Donna), Beth Greer, Patrick, Brian (Jan), Bridget Weaver, Paul (Sharon), 17 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

A memorial Mass will be held July 9 at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 6300 McKenna Dr., Mobile . Inurnment will be in Philadelphia.
