Robert Percy Peters

Robert Percy Peters – an 88 year-old resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024. Mr. Peters was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. A mechanic for Scott Paper, where he was known as “Pete”, Mr. Peters retired after 30 years of service. He taught the Berean Bible Study Group for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and loved his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Peters was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 63 years, Norma Jean Peters. He is survived by his children, Carol Jean Peters and Robert Chris Peters (Bridgot); grandchildren, Bryce Peters (Alyris), Baylen Peters, and Baylie Peters; sisters, Mary Smyley (Thomas) and Roberta Gettz (Ed); other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Pine Crest Funeral Home on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the service hour.
