Reverend Robert Allen Ledger

Reverend Robert Allen Ledger, age 79, native of Peoria, IL and longtime resident of Wilmer, AL, passed away at his home on Thursday, March 5, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mable Boyer Ledger and Theodore Ledger. Reverend Ledger was the longtime pastor of Christian Faith Assembly in Silverhill, AL. He had served in the ministry for over forty years. Reverend Ledger is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ruthie Johnston Ledger, and their children, James Allen (Beverly) Ledger, Johnny Dean (Patsy) Ledger and Joseph Paul (Gail) Ledger. He is also survived by his brother, John (Ruby) Ledger, sister, Renee Koepke, grandchildren, Jason (Kayla) Ledger, Laura (Phillip) Counselor, Amanda (Josh) McIntyre, Nick Ledger, Tiffany (Greg) Cowart, Stuart (Jill) Garrettson, Amber Garrettson, Emily Garrettson, Brittney Ledger, Caylee Ledger, ten great-grandchildren and many other nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law and other family. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Indian Springs Cemetery, Eight Mile, AL.
