Robert Cecil Carroll Jr.

Robert Cecil Carroll, Jr. – age 67, of Semmes, AL passed away at his home on Saturday, August 17, 2013. He was born May 14, 1946, in Mobile, AL. Mr. Carroll worked for Scott Paper Company for 35 years and was a member of Pathway Ministries. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Cecil Carroll, Sr. and Vivian Carroll; brother, Paul Carroll; sister, Rhonda Gordon; and beloved father-in-law, Melvin Phillips, Sr. Mr. Carroll is survived by his wife of 48 years, Shirley Carroll; sons, Robert Wayne (Davina) and Patrick Scott (Toni); seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his beloved mother-in-law, Christine Phillips; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from Pathway Ministries on Thursday, August 22, 2013, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday, August 21, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
