Richard C. Vickers, Jr. passed away on February 26, 2021 at 95. Among many other things, he was a proud World War II King’s Point Merchant Marine academy graduate and 33rd degree, Knight’s Commander Court of Honor Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Augusta; wife of 63 years, Martha; and sons, Richard and Joseph. He is survived by his daughter, Toni Ward, her husband Richard Mailhot; grandsons Adam and Cole Vickers, their wives and families, along with other treasured family and friends. The family requests that memorial donations be made to Olive Baptist Church, 1836 E Olive Rd, Pensacola, FL 32514, Shriner’s Hospital or to the charity of your choice.
