Greg attended St. Monica's Catholic School and later McGill Institute, graduating the class of 1968. He furthered his education at the University of South Alabama attaining a BA degree in Philosophy and was accepted to Oxford University in England which he ultimately declined because of financial burdens. Greg pursued several jobs in his career working for Bender Shipbuilding, P & E Marine, Ipsco Steel, but spent the majority of his working years at Turner Supply Co., where he held several positions including Purchasing Manager throughout his career. For a time Greg was President of the Mobile Chapter of the Purchasing Managers Association.
Greg was only married for a short while early in life and had no children. He pursued interests in tennis as a member and past president of the Mobile Tennis Center and was an avid sports car enthusiast owning Jaguars, MG's, Triumphs, Mazdas and a current BMW over a lifelong fascination with the wind in his hair.
Greg is survived by both an older brother, John and a younger brother, Terry, whose combination of children and great-grandchildren gave him a large loving extended and close knit family of nieces, nephews, grand- nieces/nephews all of who will miss his wit and wisdom greatly.
