Patricia Ellis Jones

Pat Jones entered life on July 27, 1939 and entered the fullness of life on December 8, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents Thelma Cain and Walter Henry Tew Sr.; her five brothers: Dan, Edward, W.H. Jr, Andrew and James: two half-siblings, Almeta and Floyd Tew; her first husband, Robert (Bob) Murphy, second husband John Jones, and daughter Melanie Murphy Stewart.

She is survived by her son Greg Murphy (Michelle); step children: Cindy Jones, Steve Melazzo (Belinda), Mitch Jones (Shelby), Jeannie McElrath (Rick), Cathy Banning (Dan) and Shawn Jones (Lauren); grandchildren Sage Brockman (Chris), Kaitlyn May, Madison Murphy, Meredith Lyons (Nathan), Morgan Murphy and Bailey Weiner; great-grandchildren Madelyn May, Merrik Anderson, Kahle Brockman, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Pat was a caring and committed Registered Nurse spending many years at USA Health University Hospital in Mobile, Al. She will always be known as a beloved mother and grandmother with a beautiful soul and heart of gold.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 14, 2019, on the grounds of Pine Crest West 1599 Snow Road, Mobile, Alabama, 36995, with Michele Statkewizz officiating.
