Nancy Townsend Benton Reynolds, a long-time resident of Mobile, AL, passed away at the Mobile Infirmary on Sunday, July 29th, 2012, at the age of 82. She was born April 27th, 1930, in Schenectady, NY to the late Fred and Agnes Benton. Her early life was spent modeling for the Ford Modeling Agency of New York until she met, fell in love with, and married the late Dr. Hugh Reynolds. They had two daughters and a son, and moved to Mobile in 1958. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and ever compassionate toward friends and family. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and infant son, John, and survived by her brother, Donald S. Benton of Cresskill, NJ; her daughters, Pamela M. T. Reynolds and Sheila R. Curtis; and her grandchildren, J. Shawn Curtis and Nicklen S. Curtis of Topeka, KS. Her family wishes to extend their infinite gratitude to the caregivers who made Nancy's final years as comfortable as possible: Sharon P., Minnie, Sharon J., Ernestine, Lynda, and June; Drs. J. Donald Kirby, William J. Schulte and Marc S. Gottlieb; as well as family friend Dudley Neese. Graveside services to be held at Springhill Cemetery on Wednesday, August 1st, at 11:00AM, officiated by the Rt. Rev. Monsignor Francis C.
