Mr. Michael “Mike” Turney – a native of Fort Worth, TX and a resident of Mobile and Baldwin Counties since 1974, died Sunday, November 14, 2010 in a local hospital. Mr. Turney was an employee of Cain’s Grocery Store in Foley and was formerly employed with Albertson’s Grocery Store, Bruno’s, Winn Dixie, and CVS Pharmacy. He was an avid Alabama Football fan. He is survived by his parents, Roger and Patsy Turney; two sisters, Chris Turney and Sheryl Turney; aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives. Visitation will be from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. on Friday, November 19, 2010 from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society for research or to Luke 4:18 Fellowship. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
