Michael Roland "Bunny" Janik

Michael Roland “Bunny” Janik – a 93 year-old native of Chicago, Illinois and a longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024. Mr. Janik retired from the ABC Board after 26 years of service. He loved to fish and was a dedicated Alabama Crimson Tide fan. Mr. Janik will be remembered as a loving, kind, giving, compassionate and precious man by all those who knew him.

Mr. Janik was preceded in death by his parents, Michael Janik and Pearl Ann Janik; brother, Al Janik; and sisters, Sophie Jensen and Lollie Stamlos. He is survived by his children, Rebecca Knight and Michael Janik (Marsha); grandchildren, Carrie Knight, John Carl Knight, III (Amanda), Brandon Cotton, Kristy Cotton, Allen Hare (Nichole), and Montana Williams (Nick); 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great, great-grandchild; many other relative and friends.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in Old Springhill Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-mobile.com.
