Michael Arthur Hartley III

Michael Arthur Hartley, III, age 67, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents, Michael Arthur Hartley, Jr. and Lucy Elizabeth Kennedy Hartley and wife, Diane White Hartley. Mr. Hartley served his country honorably in the United States Army as a decorated Vietnam Era veteran. He retired after over 30 years of service with the State of Alabama, as a Probation and Parole Officer. Mr. Hartley is survived by his children; Michael A. Hartley, IV and Melissa Diane Hartley (Mike Buford). He is also survived by his sisters, Mary Michele Hartley, Elizabeth Maria Hartley Pace (Michael), grandchildren; Mike Buford, Jr., Maddox Buford, and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
