Martha Ann Wolfe

Martha Ann (Vaughn) Wolfe was born on May 29, 1936 in Brooksville, Mississippi, the sixth child, to Frank Brandon Vaughn and Elsie Ray (Stiles) Vaughn. Ann and her family moved to Mobile just after WWII where she lived most of her life between Mobile and Baldwin Counties. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly and many considered her a second mother. She was a woman of strong faith who was known for her endearing smile, kindness, and love for others.

Preceding her was her husband of 49 years, Edward J. Wolfe Jr.; her parents; her siblings, James Vaughn, Stella Vaughn, Sara Vaughn Waite, Jerry Vaughn and Zeda Vaughn Twilley; a nephew, Perry L. Vaughn Jr.; and grandson, Adam Wolfe.

Ann is survived by her brother, Perry L. Vaughn, Sr.; her children, Edward J. (Jennifer) Wolfe III, Monica A. (Mike) McGhee, Frank B. “Brad” (Marguerite) Wolfe, C. Michelle (Chuck) Huguley and Melinda “Mendy” L. (Kevin) Kirsch. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Haley (Ryan) Livaudais, Mallory Wolfe, Alesha (Tim) Laughlin, Jeremy McGhee, Joshua (Patton) Wolfe, Sean (Emily) Wolfe, Brandon (Sylvia) Wolfe, Jacob (Emily) Wolfe, Jonathan Wolfe, Aubrey (Nick) Gorum, Graham (Lauren) Huguley, Carly (Bryce) Little, Madeline Kirsch and Zander Kirsch. Ann is further survived by; 18 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will take place on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Pine Crest Funeral Home.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Graveside service will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery. Fellowship will be offered immediately after at Riverside Baptist Church fellowship hall.
