

Marion was affectionately known as “Lovey” to her children and grandchildren who were her greatest joy. She enjoyed her weekly bridge games and will be missed by her many friends. She loved unconditionally and brought out the best in those around her.
Marion is survived by her daughter, Fontaine Radcliff Howard (Sandy), her son, George Willis Radcliff, III (Mary Ross), her stepsons, Gordon Sandys Stimpson, Jr. and Scott LeFevre Stimpson and her eight grandchildren Alexander Travis Howard, IV, George Radcliff Howard, Megan Amber McMullen (Blake), Leslie Maury Radcliff, George Willis Radcliff, IV, Charles Michael Radcliff, Elizabeth Fontaine Radcliff and Francis Marion Radcliff. She is also survived by her brother, Richard Wilmer Cobb (Fran), her nephews Jaan Alexander Childs and Richard Maury Cobb (Walton) and his children, Margaret Eagan Cobb and Richard Wilmer Cobb, II.
Marion was preceded in death by her son, Leslie Maury Radcliff, her husband, Gordon Sandys Stimpson and her parents, Isaac Basil Cobb and Betty Maury Cobb.
Her funeral services will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Chapel in Mobile, Alabama on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. A visitation and reception will immediately follow in the Parish Hall of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
