Margaret Talley Dean

Mrs. Margaret Talley Dean – Born June 17, 1926 in Greenville, AL and a lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, departed this life on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Dean was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, John Frank Dean. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Wilmer, AL where Brother Robert Cobb, serves as Pastor. She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Blackmon (LaVon) Chastang and Cynthia (David) Powell both of Mobile, AL; four grandchildren, Donald (Stacy) Blackmon, Derrick Blackmon both of Ketchikan, Alaska, Byron (Debbie) Chastang and Heather (Stevan) McFarland both of Mobile, AL; and four great-grandchildren, Cheyenne and McKenzie Blackmon, Amber West, and Sarah Bennett. She will be sorely missed by her many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including her lifelong friend, Mrs. Pat Glidden. A special “Thank you” to the Infirmary Hospice team for all their support and assistance at this very trying time in our life. Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. on Sunday, November 13, 2011 from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street, with Brother Robert Cobb officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 P.M. until 3 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be David Quinn, Jimmy Dean, Ronnie Kirksey, Byron Chastang, Warren Blackmon and Harold George. Honorary pallbearer is Gene Alexander. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery.
