Margaret Baer

Margaret Kathryn Cooper Baer, born on January 17, 1935 in Mobile, Alabama, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on December 15, 2023. She was 88 years old. Margaret loved Jesus Christ and her family and friends. She retired from Mobile Infirmary Medical Center as a registered nurse, and was a nurse with the United States Air Force.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents Reuben Roy Cooper, Sr. (1893 – 1959) and Kara (Foreman) Cooper (1897 – 1968). Her brothers and sisters were: Richard Lee Cooper (1917-1988), Reuben Roy Cooper, Jr. (1919 – 1999), Sara Elizabeth (Cooper) McGuire “Sakie” (1921 – 2008), Noami Ruth (Cooper) Davies “Nonie” (1924 – 2003), Anna Louise (Cooper) Johnson “Beezy” (1927 – 2018), and Robert William Cooper “Bobby” (1937 – 2020).

Margaret had two very good friends: Ann (Truex) Chapman “Cookie” for over 70 years, and Sibyl Marcelete Canning Berg for over 60 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherri Lynn Mishou “S.L. Mishou”.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home, with a chapel service immediately following.
