Malcolm was a 1947 graduate of Thomasville High School. He retired from Kimberly Clark in 1989 after 41 years of service at the paper mill. Malcolm was a Master Mason for 63 years and as a Scottish Rite Shriner, was a van driver to the Childrens Shrine Hospitals. He has been a member of Spanish Fort United Methodist Church since 1965. Malcolm was a member of the Belles and Beaus Square Dance Association and Baldwin Senior Travelers. He coached all three sons in baseball and taught his daughter to keep score. On Sunday afternoon, before Labor Day, a Davis family reunion was celebrated in his home for 35 years.
Deceased: Parents, Anna and Malcolm "Shorty" Davis and sister, Louise Davis Patrick.
Survivors include wife of 64 years, Patsy Larrimore Davis, Daughter, Carla (Bobby) Wood, Gastonia, N.C., Sons, Malcolm "Skip" Davis of Daphne, Robert Bentley Davis of Birmingham, Stephen Ray (Amanda) Davis of Daphne.
Eight grandchildren: Mark (Tracy) Brown, Julie (Todd) Evitt, Michael (Lisa) Brown, Brandon (Brandy) Davis, Bret (Katherine) Davis, Stephanie (Ryan) Wellman, Alex Davis, Mallory Davis. Nine great-grandchildren.
Sister, Marian Davis Vrachalus and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services to be held Saturday, Nov 2, 2013 at Spanish Fort United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 10am-12pm. Service will begin at 12:00 noon and burial at Mobile Memorial Gardens immediately following.
