Madge Genevieve Baker, of Mobile, entered into rest Monday, December 7, 2015 at her home. She was 84. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Oakleigh Chapel, Mobile. Interment will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Baker was a dispatcher for the City of Mobile Police and Fire Departments for over 25 years as well as serving as a 911 dispatcher. She was a charter member of the oldest parading women’s mystic society in Mobile, a dedication of over 60 years. Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her husband, Joshua E. Baker.
She is survived by her two children, Sue Dutton of Mobile and Michael (Cynthia) Kelly of Birmingham, five grandchildren, Wesley (Gina) Dutton, Russell Dutton, Josh Kelly, Garret (Katie) Kelly, and Loren Kelly, four great-granddaughters, and three great-grandsons.
