Mabel Louise Jefferies Card – age 102, a native of Citronelle, AL and a longtime resident of Mobile, AL died Thursday, January 2, 2014 in a local hospital. Mrs. Card was a retired school teacher in the Mobile area. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Card, Sr; parents, A.B. and Madge Jefferies; one son, William Card, Jr.; two brothers, R.B. and Donald Jefferies; two sisters, Margie Smith and Doris Davis. She is survived by one son, B.J. Card; three grandchildren, Jeff Card, Jr., Tim Card and Jill Card (Wesley) Riner; two great-grandchildren, Drew and Sarah Riner; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Graveside services and interment will be Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at 11 a.m. in Pine Crest Cemetery, Citronelle, AL.
