Ms. Bond was a beautiful lady inside and out.  I was blessed to have been her hairdresser.  My prayers are with the family.  She will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Bond was my BOE teacher at Mary Montgomery, '77 - '78.  My parents (Jimmy McLeod and Marie Anderson) were seniors at Semmes High School when your father taught there in '56.  So, our family has a legacy of influence from your exceptional parents!  God Bless you and comfort you. May his face shine upon you and may you know peace, in this time of sorrow and grief.

My fondest memory of Mrs. Lou occurred not long after my family and I joined Moffett Road in 2006. My mother new Mrs. Lou from Mary Montgomery so I introduced myself to her one day as she was practicing. I told her how much I loved organ music and had always wanted to learn to play the organ. We somehow got to talking about the organ itself and she told me that one thing that she wished worked on the organ was the presets (press a button and your favorite settings would automatically be turned on). I told her that I was in electronic repair and I would ask Greg, our Minister of Music, if it would be ok if I checked it. He said yes as long as I did not break it worse. So one evening I came to the church to work on it and when I got the back off, I immediately noticed that the preset circuit board was gone. I called Greg the next day and told him. He informed me that several years ago a man from an organ repair company from Pensacola had come to attempt to repair and had pulled the board out and taken it to his shop. He called and said the board would need to be replaced and it was very expensive and the church decided not to fix it. He never brought the board back. Greg called him and he still had the board and mailed it back. I got the board and reinstalled it but could not figure why it did not work that evening so I pulled the board back out and took it home. I called the organ manufacturer to see if they could help but they said no. Proprietary information. Over several evenings I played with the board and finally discovered a small resistor was bad. Luckily I had one. I installed it and the next evening came back to the church and installed the board and the presets worked. I set some of them and played the organ for a little while.
On Sunday morning I came into the auditorium while they were rehearsing for the service. I leaned over Mrs. Lou's shoulder and said Mrs. Lou press that button. When she pressed it and that levers switched automatically her eyes got real big and she said You fixed it. Thank You. I will never forget that moment. She then asked if I could fix the card reader which is the way this organ is programmed for some sounds. I called the company again and this time they told me what to do and I was able to get them going for her. I already miss seeing her at the organ. She was a wonderful lady.

My condolences on the loss of your mom.  She was such a sweet lady.  I always enjoyed her organ music at MRBC and she played at my wedding 24 years ago.  I will pray for your family as you grieve her passing but we all know she is sitting at the feet of Jesus!

We loved and loss a precious friend, but we will see her again, Praise God!

It was an honor to know Louise.  She was a most gracious lady.  She was a giver, truly a good Christian and a good example for us all.

Mrs. Bond was such a wonderful musician and organist.  She was a dedicated Christian. She was a humble person. I went to church with her at Moffett Rd. Baptist Church.

Mrs. Bond was one of my favorite teachers.  I still can remember those typing quizzes at MGM.  She truly was an inspiration and great role model to all of her students.

Mrs. Bond was truly a great educator.  She taught us so many lessons about life and prepared her students for the work world.  She was truly one of a kind.  Love to her family and friends.

Mrs. Bond was such a wonderful caring person.  I enjoyed teaching with her.  Further, Mr. Band was my science teacher at Semmes.  I am grateful for all the time they gave to the children of our community and for the Godly influence that they were.

Loved Mrs. Bond, I went to Moffett Road Baptist Church for many years.  Loved the family and the kids, my sympathy goes out to the family, she was a angel of a lady, rest in peace Mrs. Bond.

Mrs. Bond was one of my favorite teachers and the sweetest lady. I learned so much from her.  My deepest sympathies to her family and friends.  I know she will be missed.

Mrs. Bond was one of my favorite teachers!  Because of her class, I became a secretary and have used those skills throughout my adult life.  Though my career has changed, those secretarial lessons she taught has helped me through each one! Praying for peace and comfort for the family!

Mrs. Bond was one of my favorite teachers and she was a wonderful person.  She really cared about her students and I was lucky to have her in my life.

I work at Tanner Pecan with Mrs. Louise, such as sweet lady.  Prayers to the family.
