Miss Leslie Grace Pollard, age 95, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leslie O. and Grace Farnell Pollard. Miss Pollard retired as a Clerk with Civil Service at Brookley Field and Corps of Engineers after 35 years of service. She was a former member of Fulton Road United Methodist Church where she volunteered and was head of the Boxtop Mission. She lived with her mother and aunt, Marie Farnell for many years where they loved gardening together and had one of the most beautiful yards in the Mobile area Miss Pollard is survived by Alfreda Brannon, Col. Melvin Klein (Betty), Myrtle Gainey (Ben) and Edris Marshall and other family. The family wishes to thank her caregivers at Cogburn Nursing Home for their loving care and compassion.
