Katheryn Eugene Emmons

Katheryn E. Emmons, age 89, born, November 26, 1934 in Clanton, Alabama and a longtime resident of Theodore, Alabama went to her heavenly home on February 8, 2024 at Grand Bay Convalescent Home after a lengthy illness.

She was a member of First Baptist Tillman’s Corner.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Hilbert Gene Emmons; grandson, Richard Emmons; granddaughter, Teri Emmons and her parents, Tommy and Nellie Easterling.

Katheryn is survived by her by her sons, Rickey (Helen) Emmons, Roger (Sandy) Emmons, and Randy (Kathy) Emmons; her daughter, Renee Emmons; 9 grandchildren, Kimberly Emmons, Angie Lynn, Tommy Emmons, Brandon Phillips, Andrew Pryor, Brian Pitts, Kellie Kiewsida, Eric Kiewsida, and Brent Kiewsida; sixteen great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; two sisters, Brenda Hicks and Sue Davenport, also, survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Mrs. Emmons will be held at First Baptist Tillman’s Corner on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 P.M. Interment will follow in Lottie New Home Cemetery, Lottie, Alabama.
