During her lifetime, Karen never met a stranger and had a caring and giving heart. She was devoted to God, her family and her church -she never missed an opportunity to share her faith with others.
Karen was one of God’s special children and our family was blessed by her being in our lives. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family, love of sports, especially Alabama football, and her faith.
Karen is survived by her sister “Big sis” Pamela Dykes (Brian), her brother, “Lil bro” Greg Hunt, stepfather, Allen Horton, stepsister Jennifer Horton (Ron); her nephews “Champ 1” Brandon Lyndall (Brandi), “Champ 2” Michael Lyndall (Kathryn) and “Champ 3” David Lyndall (Jennifer); her Aunt, Shirley Harris; all her great-“princesses” and great-“princes”; caring and devoted friend and neighbor, Cynthia Coe. And many more loving relatives and friends.
Visitation for Karen will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, with a chapel service immediately following. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery West.
Family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to two of Karen’s favorite missions:
