Joyce Marie Kirkland, age 76, a resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Monday December 2nd. She was born May 14, 1948 in Mobile Alabama. She was faithful to her family and church. She knew and loved Jesus and loved attending her Sunday School class and services at Springhill Baptist Church. She was a people person and could strike up a conversation with anyone whom she met. One of her greatest delights in life was teaching piano. She took much pride and satisfaction in that endeavor. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ernest, her daughter Julie Kirkland Lamey (Paul), son Bradley (Allison), brother Douglas McIntyre, and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and older brother.
Funeral services will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Saturday, December 7, 2024. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am with service following at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery on Dauphin Island Parkway.
