Joseph Eugene Thompson

Mr. Joseph Eugene Thompson, 62, of Mobile, Alabama and formerly of Memphis, Tennessee died on July 12, 2013. Joe was born in Yokohama, Japan. He was in the US Marine Corps Reserve. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Carlock Thompson; parents, Dr. F.E. and Lucille Thompson and brother, Mark Thompson. He is survived by his sons, Jason Thompson, Kelly (Lesley) Thompson; fiancée’ Elizabeth Archibald; sisters, Dr. Rebecca T. Giannini (Joe) of Fairfield Bay, AR, Mrs. Lisa T. Vincent (Austin) of Hernando, MS, Mary E. Thompson of Memphis, TN and sister-in-law, Catherine C. Baird of Mobile, AL. He also leaves three grandchildren, Isabelle, Cole, Harper and many nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
