John "Jab'o" Henry Starks

Mr. John Henry Jab’O Starks, a resident of Mobile, AL, born in Clarke County, October 26, 1937, departed this life on May 1, 2018 at his residence. He leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted wife, Naomi T. Starks, two children; Sonya, P. Starks, and Mark (Benita) Starks. He is also survived by two grandchildren; Lyah Shea Smith, Mark Sean Starks, II, two sisters; Sallie M. Bumpers, Harkers Heights, TX, Ruth Brown, Mobile, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and devoted friends. Funeral services will be held on May 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Cottage Hill. The family will receive family and friends from 10:00 a. m. until service time at the church.
