He is survived by his wife Aimee Johnson Lowery, daughter Mary Martha Lowery and son John Wayne Lowery, III; preceded in death by mother Martha Ingle Lowery, father John Wayne Lowery, mother-in-law Mary J. (Everett Evans) Lawson, grandmother Jean Ingle; survived by sisters Karen L. (Myron) Penn of Union Springs, AL and Kelly J. (Adam) Wolfberg of Boston, MA; sister-in-law Patricia Nicole Johnson of Mobile; nieces and nephews Aimee Nicole Finch, Samuel Williams, Corde Penn, Martha Ladner, Maggie Kinney, Hannah Wolfberg, Grace Peterson, Larissa Wolfberg, and aunts Mary Sue (John) West of Birmingham and Maxine Donald, grandmother Velma "Granny" Donald of Mobile and other relatives and countless friends.

Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home Wednesday February 19, 2013 from 5 - 7 pm. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Thursday February 20, 2013 at 2 pm followed by graveside services at Pine Crest West with friend and Pastor Raymond Brian Jones of the Cave Ministries officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jack Lowrey, Jr., Terry Lowrey, Tim Lowrey, Wesley Moody, David Higgins and Everett Evans. And James Sessions, Edward Johnson and Terry Johnson acting as honorary pallbearers.
