John C. Lindell, a native of Brainerd, Minnesota and a resident of Mobile, Alabama died on Wednesday, September 11, 2013. He was retired from the Federal Probation Office, and had served with the Secret Service and the Coast Guard Honor Guard Unit. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy R. Lindell. Mr. Lindell is survived by twin children, Jonathan M. Lindell and Tiffany L. (Beli) Karamovic and grandsons, Luca E. Karamovic and Tate Karamovic, all of Mobile; one sister, Susie (Rick) Elhart and his mother in law, Jessie M. Roth and other relatives. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated from Our Savior Catholic Church on Friday, September 20, 2013 at 11:30 AM. Visitation will start at 9:30 AM. The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association or to the Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) of Mobile. Burial will be at a later date in Pine Crest West Cemetery.
