John Ray Jordan

John Ray Jordan, age 83, of Daphne, AL. passed away Friday, June 2, 2017. Mr. Jordan served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corp. A Charter member of the National World War II Museum, Master Mason of Athelstan Lodge # 369, member of the Scottish Rite, Shriners, American Legion, Murphy High School Alumni Assoc.,Theta Chi-University of Alabama and Alpha Delta Kappa Assoc.

He is preceded in death by his parents Johnnie Gray Jordan and Lollie Mae Bullock Jordan. Survived by his loving wife Shirley Palmiter Jordan, sister Peggy Jordan Gunderson, children; John Frederick Jordan, Richard Keith Jordan and Rose Marie Jordan West. Grandchildren; Jack Jordan, Anne Jordan, Emily Potter, Maggie Jordan, Elli Jordan, Jared West and Jason West.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 5, 2017 from 5:00 -7:00 pm at Pine Crest Funeral Home and on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Daphne, AL from 10:00 am until time of services at 11:00 am, with Rev. Richard Mueller officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Crest cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 8271 Whispering Pines, Daphne, AL. 36532 or a charity of your choice.
