John Dressler

John Dressler - an 87 year-old native and resident of Mobile passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012. He was a United States Navy veteran of World War II and Korea and was retired from civil service. Mr. Dressler, a longtime mason, was a member of Loop Lodge No. 895 F&AM. He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Betty Houston Dressler; sister, Hazel Nolley and brothers, Robert and Edward Dressler. Mr. Dressler is survived by his children, John Michael Dressler, Janet Dressler Petermann, James Anthony Dressler (Selena), and Susan Dressler Finley (John); grandchildren, Bradley and Lauren Finley and T.J. and Caitlyn Dressler; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 noon until the service hour.
