John “Clint” Collins, 50 years old and a native of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2015 surrounded by family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Big Granny & Sug Collins, and Nanny & Grandaddy Duke. Clint was an avid outdoorsman, motor cross enthusiast, and an accomplished marksman having attained numerous awards. Clint was a self-proclaimed flip flop wearing “cowboy” whose trademarks were a straw Resistol hat and his annual 4th of July celebrations. He will be remembered for his generosity which was only matched by his love of Jesus, family, and friends.
Clint is survived by his wife and children, Jessica Hill Collins and Natalie & Noah Weaver; parents, Milton and Carol Ann Collins; siblings, Cleve (Melissa) Collins and Cheri (Jeff) Franklin; nieces & nephews, Micah (Kimberley), Taylor, Zachary, Mackenzie, Reagan, and Kennedy Collins and Chase, Collins, Madison, Cooper, Eli & Ella Catherine Franklin as well as a a host of friends.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Oakleigh Chapel, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in Creola Cemetery. Leave your coat and tie, please come as you are.
