A beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Passed away peacefully at his residence in Mobile, Alabama on Thursday, January 2, 2025 with his devoted wife Patricia Hallford Burke by his side.
John dedicated his life to his family, his work and his passions.
John's career began in the local Shipyard where he was known for hi strong work ethic and unwavering dedications. He later established a motorcycle shop in Downtown Mobile. Reflecting his love for motorcycles. He was a true American Patriot who took pride for his country. Love to share his enthusiasm for Automobiles with friends and family. His love for Alabama Football "Roll Tide", and his babies,(Cats)
John was preceded in death by his mother, Dorthy McHenry and his father, Norman McHenry.
John is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Hallford Burke; daughter, Charissa Hamm; son, John (Amanda) Burke;grandchildren, Scott (Kimberly) Burke, Chet Hamm and his cherished Granddaughter, Lora Bre-Ann Burke; 3 great grandchildren, Jake, Jeremiah and Jayce Burke.
his Legacy of Love, Laughter and Strength will continue to inspire all he knew.
A visitation for John will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 followed by a funeral service to honor His life. Burial will be at Pine Crest Cemetery.
