Joan Elizabeth Turner – a 71 year-old native of Mobile and current resident of Niceville, FL passed away Monday, April 13, 2015. She was a 1961 graduate of Vigor High School and a lifelong active member of the United Methodist Church. Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lewis Turner, Sr. She is survived by her sons, Charles Lewis Turner, Jr. and Michael David Turner (Bea); sister, Joyce Howell Parks (Larry); grandchildren, Chase, Cameron, Michael, Mitchell, and Addison; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Forest Hill United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 18, 2015, from 11 a.m. until a 12 p.m. memorial service.
