Jerry Jerome "Spanky" Sasser

Jerry Jerome “Spanky” Sasser – born December 1, 1958, passed away February 12, 2023. He was a loving father, brother and grandfather. Jerry loved Alabama football, Nascar, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He worked as a Pipefitter for many years with General Electric and Flour Daniels until his retirement in 2000. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Juanita Sasser; and brother, Ray Sasser. He is survived by the mother of his children, Sharon Sasser; daughter and her wife, Kristen (Samantha) Sasser; son, Michael Sasser; son and his wife, Kyle (Cera) Sasser; grandson, Taran Grey Sasser; sister, Mary Harrell; aunt, Dovie Willcutt; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL 36606. Graveside services and interment will follow at 2 p.m. in Serenity Memorial Gardens in Theodore, AL.
