Janet Robinson Ankerson passed from this life at the age of 56 on September 12, 2017 at Springhill Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. Janet was born and lived in Mobile, Alabama. She was graduated from Independent Methodist High School and went on to receive a B.S. in biology from Judson College. She attended Samford Nursing School where she received her R.N. Janet worked as a nurse at Springhill Memorial Hospital. Janet is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Ankerson. She is survived by three children, Brittney Ankerson, Hollie Ankerson, and Brandon Ankerson; sisters, Calvin (Robert) Williams and Rebecca (Billy) Gregory; and her mother, Thelma Robinson. Services will be held at Snow Road First Baptist Church, 2370 Snow Road North, Semmes, Alabama. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by the funeral at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Pine Crest Cemetery West next to her loving husband, Michael.
