James Harold Warren, Sr., December 9, 1934 – February 11, 2018, (83 years, 2 months, 2 days) ~ Called Affectionately to Most Simply as “Brother Jim”, a Longtime Resident & Native of Mobile, Alabama Went to Live in Glory with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Jim Was a Loving Faithful Husband of 61 Years, to Alice Faye (Rackley) Warren Who Was The Love of His Life and He Tenderly Cared for Her Until She Passed on August 23, 2016. They Were Joined In Matrimony June 22, 1955 In Aiken, South Carolina and Were Blessed with Four Children.
Jim Faithfully Served His Country in the United States Air Force Before Dedicating His Life to Full Time Ministry as a Southern Baptist Pastor for 42 Years. He Attended College at the Baptist Bible Institute in Graceville, FL.
Throughout those years, Jim Served as the Pastor at Pleasant Hill, Pleasant Grove, Lambert Grove, McIntosh, Navco and Manor Baptist Churches. Jim Truly Had The Heart of a Pastor and Served Tirelessly In Ministry Doing Everything From Preaching Two Services on Sundays and Visiting Five Nursing Homes on Wednesday to Leading Groups to Visit and Minister In Various Places. While Doing This, He Also Worked Full-Time as a Maintenance Engineer at Providence Hospital for 22 years.
Following this Homegoing Service, There Will Be a Graveside Service at Pine Crest Funeral Home & Cemeteries, 1939 Dauphin Island Pkwy, Mobile, AL 36605 and Afterwards There Will Be a Meal Served In The Fellowship Hall for Family and Friends. Finger Foods Will Be Served In The Fellowship Hall During The Wake, (12-2 pm).
He is Survived by His Children; Charlie (Sharon) Warren of Mobile, AL; Hal (Kathy) Warren of Hampton, VA; Marcile (Mark) Warren Sims of Mobile, AL and Nine Grandchildren, Jonathan Warren, David Warren, Austin Sims, Colton Sims, Christabel (Warren) Snyder, Seth Warren, Joseph Warren and Marci (Sims) Stephens, and Two Great Grandchildren, Sasha Warren and Taylor Elizabeth Warren. As Well as His Five Siblings; Charlie L. Warren, Mildred Henderson, Mary Ann Willis, Benny Warren, and Pearl Guy. Jim was Preceded in Death by His Parents; Charlie H. Warren and Margaret Elizabeth (Pope) Warren and a son David Warren, and a Granddaughter Kelly Amanda Warren.
A Visitation Will Be Held at Noon on Saturday, February 17th at Manor Baptist Church, Prior to The Homegoing Service of Celebration at 2:00pm. a Graveside Service Will Follow at Pine Crest Cemetery (Dauphin Island Pkwy).in Lieu of Flowers, The Family Hopes You Will Prayerfully Consider Supporting Some of The Same Organizations They Were Passionate About.
