James Frank Treadaway, passed away on August 14, 2020 at the age of 72. Frank was born on October 12, 1947 and a resident of Anniston, Al for 52-years and a current resident of Mobile, Al. Frank was preceded in death by his parents James Carl Treadaway and Doris Reaves Treadaway, sisters Betty Jean Clark and Joyce Hackbarth. He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Kiker Treadaway of 51 years and daughter Heather (Tom) Treadaway Wilder. He leaves behind his beloved granddaughter, Anna Grace Wilder, and many nieces and nephews.
Frank grew up in Oxford, Al where he graduated from Oxford High School and was a member of the Oxford High School band. After graduation he attended Jacksonville State University.
Frank had many hobbies, but his favorites were hunting, fishing, and watching college sports, especially Alabama football. He was an avid NASCAR fan which he loved sharing with his daughter, Heather, at an early age. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and enjoyed every day he got to spend with them, including every holiday.
Frank served in the Alabama National Guard and was a millwright at Goodyear where he retired after 23 years. He was a very talented man and was known to everyone as the man that could fix anything.
After he retired and moved to Mobile, he began working with FEMA where he managed Individual Assistance Operations.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday August 18th with a visitation 12pm-1pm at Radney Funeral Home with a graveside service immediately following at Pinecrest Cemetery West.
