James Howard Lackey Sr.

Judge Lackey was a graduate of Fairfield High School and the University of Alabama Law School. He served as a Municipal Court Judge for the City of Mobile for 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry A. Lackey and Edith Haynes Lackey; and one son, William A. Lackey.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine Lackey; one son, James H. Lackey, Jr.; two grandchildren, Grant Jernigan Lackey and Benjamin Harrington Lackey; one brother, Michael E. (Jan) Lackey; one sister, Patty (Bobby) Marcrum; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Monday, April 16, 2012 at the Sacred Heart Residence of the Little Sisters of the Poor. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from St. Mary's Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 1655 McGill Avenue, Mobile, AL 36604. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
