James Clark Hutchison - Eulogy - July 10, 2024.
Jim Hutchison was my father-in-law and my friend. We played golf and canasta together and he was very good at both. In fact, he was better at both games than I was; but he never boasted about it or made me feel I was any less of a player. He treated everyone equally. He was indeed an honest and forthright man; who raised five children to be successful adults and loved his wife, Pearl, for sixty-nine years. Above all else, he was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and strove to emulate him as best he could. He has now gone to be with the Lord and his beloved wife, Pearl. We know he is in a better place, and is smiling down on us all. So, to Jim I say, "Goodbye for now. Thank you for your friendship, your love, your devotion, and the example you set for others to follow. We will miss you until we meet again."
