Graveside services for James Christopher Britton, Jr., 99, were held, 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 6, 2019 on the grounds of Pine Crest Cemetery, 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, Alabama, 36605, Albert VanHoomoged officiating.
James Christopher Britton, Jr. was born July 20, 1920, to the late James Christopher and Corah Johnson Britton, Sr. He passed November 1, 2019 in Mobile, Alabama, surrounded by his loving family in the comfort of his home. James was a dedicated employee with Chevron as an operator.
His parents, one son, William A. Britton, one sister, Bessie Britton Cartwright, and one brother, Warner A. Britton preceded James in death.
Left to cherish the beautiful memories of James will be his beloved wife, Marsha G. Britton, one son, Dr. Jim Britton, III and wife Linda, one daughter, Julia Britton Thames and husband Joe, one sister-in-law, Barbara Britton, two nieces, four nephews, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, along with many extended family and a host of wonderful friends.
