He is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Margaret Bright; his daughter, Darene Bartlett (Gary); his granddaughter, Dayna McDonald; two sisters: Sarah Foster, Frances Curtis; along with extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
James was preceded in death by a daughter, Dayna Doss; a grandson, James Doss, and his brother, Bill Bright.
He was a devoted husband, father, and grandaddy. James enjoyed spending time with family and being a faithful servant of God.
A visitation for James will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at West Mobile Baptist Church, 7501 Airport Blvd, Mobile, Alabama 36608 with Bro. Kevin Cobb officiating.
Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Springhill Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 626 Pierce Road, Mobile, Alabama, 36608.
Honoring James as pallbearers will be Joey Eiland, Jeff Eiland, Tony Bartlett, Bud Clayton, Greg Hurst, and Ken Lee.
Memorials may be made in honor of James Carroll Bright to the ministries of West Mobile Baptist Church.
