Jack Henry Crenshaw – an 87 year-old native of Valera, TX and longtime resident of Mobile passed away Monday, May 11, 2015. Mr. Crenshaw was a World War II veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was also a veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired from Pan-American Airlines after 25 years of service. Mr. Crenshaw, in his retirement, touched many young lives as a magnet school bus driver for the Mobile County Public School System. He was a member of Providence Presbyterian Church. A 32nd degree Mason, he was a member of the Scottish Rite and Abba Temple Shrine. Mr. Crenshaw was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Mary Lucille Crenshaw, and daughter, Jacquelyn Sue Crenshaw. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Steven Crenshaw and Sharon; grandchildren, Amy Pritchett (Lee) and Cassie Reid (Ryan); great-grandchildren, Cody Pritchett and Olivia Reid; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held from Providence Presbyterian Church on Saturday, May 16, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Music Ministry at Providence Presbyterian Church, 2320 Schillinger Rd.
