Himon Jesse Willard Jr.

Mr. Willard retired from Akzo-Nobel in January 2010 after 40+ years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Himon Jesse Willard, Sr. and Mary Celess Dixon Willard.

Survivors include two sons, Himon Jesse Willard, III (Carol McGugin) and Howard Jason "J.J." Willard; two granddaughters, Haley Marie Willard and Ashley Nicole Beech; his brother and five sisters, Gloria Willard (Bob) Sutton, Diane Willard (Butch) Umbarger, Paulette Willard Thomas, Darrell (Karen Butts) Willard, Melba Willard (Gary) Rehm, and Nancy Willard (Paul) Emrich; one surviving aunt, Aunt Thelma Carroll Harrelson; nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends, and special friends at the Hillcrest Senior Center.

Jesse loved Ballroom Dancing, Motorcycles, and Alabama Football.

The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. on Friday, April 13, 2012 from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Save us a place in Heaven on the 50 yard line.
