Harold O. Ratliff, born in Birmingham, Alabama on December 16, 1935 went to be with his Savior on February 18, 2014. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Ronnie, his parents, two brothers, and three sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Ruth A. Ratliff, his daughter Dana Durden, of Semmes Alabama, sons Glen Ratliff of Madisonville, Louisiana and John Ratliff (Beverly) of Tanner Williams, Alabama, his grandchildren, Lucy Durden, Connor Ratliff, Lily Durden, Carson Ratliff, his sister Carolyn Connor of North Carolina, and a host of nieces and nephews. His passion included, first and foremost his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, an unending love for his country, and Alabama football. Visitation will be Friday from 5:30-8:00 p.m. and funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m., both at Pathway Church. In lieu of flowers, please make all donations to the American Cancer Society. His family would like to extend their warmest thanks to all of his wonderful caretakers at Providence Hospital.
